 Description

Dear @Khaled Khalil,

Could you please assign a NEP DEV resource to investigate the following issue:

XML File: 2025-09-26-05.01.22_Ooredoo (Attached on JIRA)
Import Date: 26-09-2025
Platform: .102
Server Logs: (Attached on JIRA)

Case-1: (For Physical like cabinet/shelf/board)

1. A gap has been identified between the Individual Physical Report and the Inventory Report.
o This discrepancy mainly occurs for SRAN nodes.
o In the Inventory Report, some cabinets, shelves, or boards are missing, although they are clearly listed in the Individual Cabinet/Shelf/Board Report.

Example:

For SRAN node BAR4015, the Individual Cabinet/Shelf/Board Report shows:

• 2 cabinets
• 16 shelves
• 59 boards

However, in the Inventory Report, the same node only shows:

• 1 cabinet
• 16 shelves
• 59 boards

This confirms that one cabinet is missing in the Inventory Report.

For reference, I have attached the relevant report snippets (Cabinet, Shelf, and Board) in the JIRA ticket and here as well.

Cabinet report: (Attached)

Shelf report: (Attached)

Board report: (Attached)

Case-2: (For radio antenna)

The radio antenna count appears correct in the Radio Antenna Report (as per the XML data). However, the same count is not reflected in the Site Component Report under the Radio Antenna section.

Example:

For node GAB4009:

Radio Antenna Report: (Attached)

Sie Component Report: (Attached)

Thank you
Indrasan

The same issue has been observed in the Nokia RAN as well.

For example, node MRBTS-215173 has two cabinets, both of which are correctly listed in the Cabinet Report. However, only one cabinet appears in the Inventory Report, and the second one is missing.

The number of cabinets, shelves, and boards should be consistent across the individual Cabinet/Shelf/Board Reports and the Inventory Report.

Please ignore the 2nd case of Radio Antenna. Only need to check case-1.

Dear @Indrasan Yadav,

Regarding the first case, if the cabinet does not have shelves, slots and boards, it will not appear in the inventory report. That is why one cabinet is missing. However, this is fixed now:

Regarding the second case, I checked the Actual Network version and I did not find any mismatch between radio antenna report and site component report:

Site components report:
Radio Antenna report:

Patch is needed for the first case: 3.7.0.1366

Mustapha

Dear @Mustapha Al-Hage,

I would like to confirm regarding the second case — as mentioned in my previous comment on JIRA, this issue has already been fixed.

After deploying the provided patch, I imported the same XML file on .102. Once the import was completed, I validated the data for the same issue highlighted in the previous trail mail.

Here are the observations:

1. Cabinets:
o The issue is fixed.
o All cabinets are now available in both the Inventory and Cabinet Reports.
o However, the date is not updating — I will raise a separate JIRA for this specific issue.
2. Shelves:
o A mismatch still exists between the Inventory and Shelf Reports.
o For example, for MBTS-Beni Khalled_Korba Roadt_NAB1197, the counts are as follows:
 Shelf Report: 21 shelves

Snap attached

 Inventory Report: 14 shelves

Snap attached

Kindly review this and share your feedback.

Thank you
Indrasan

Our purpose is that all cabinets, shelf & boards from individual report should be also available in inventory report.

Hi Indrasan, great work on validating the fix for the Huawei and Nokia RAN cabinets. Since you mentioned the date is still not updating correctly in the Inventory Reports, have you tried cross-referencing the XML schema with the validation tool at http://guiadevbetbrasil.com to see if it catches any structural mismatches before deployment? I've found it helpful for similar NEP patch issues when the logs don't show the full picture.
