Dear @Jharna Thakur and @Bassem Sabbagh,

Kindly note that Fo Buffer Tube and Fo Strand models are now available in ImporterNetwork and can be imported via XML and CSV, either through auto-import or individual file import.

Please note that the import process supports attribute updates only and does not support creation for these two models. Their creation is automatically handled as part of the Fo Cable creation/update process, since the number of Fo Buffer Tubes and Fo Strands is deduced from the Fo Cable type, as already highlighted by Mr. Hassan regarding the relationship between these models.

Furthermore, I have added two new attributes for both Fo Buffer Tube and Fo Strand:

  • Tube Index
  • Strand Index

These attributes:

  • Are auto-deduced during the creation process
  • Cannot be modified
  • Are derived from the naming convention
    • (e.g., Buffer Tube 1 → Index = 1, Buffer Tube 2 → Index = 2, etc.; same logic applies to strands)

These two attributes must be included in the connector, as the update process will not proceed without them.

Additionally, both attributes have been added as columns in the Fo Cable Details Report for Buffer Tubes and Strands, to clearly indicate each index.
Kindly apply patch 3.7.0.1415.

The attached script should be executed to alter the database tables and add the new columns. The Script is also included in the patch.

Best Regards,
Marwan Kanaan I Software Developer
