      Description

Users are receiving a “User already authenticated” error while logging into NEP via ADFS. There is no mechanism available to terminate existing sessions.

Due to this, users are unable to login until the previous session is cleared automatically.

      Steps to Reproduce:

      Login to NEP via ADFS
Do not logout properly OR session remains active
      Try logging in again

      Actual Result:

      Error: “User already authenticated”
No option to kill existing session

      Expected Result:

Either allow login with session override
OR provide option to terminate previous session
      OR auto-expire stale sessions

      Impact:

Users are blocked from accessing the application
Work is delayed until session timeout
      Frequent user complaints
